Description

This intelligent driver board controls up to six reversible turnout motors, such as Tortoise and Uhlenbrock stall motors or Kato point motors, from your MegaPoints network. It is designed to sit out on the layout close to the motors and take its commands from our DCC module or MultiPanel processor. A short network cable is included for testing or extending.

Before wiring up, a single MODE jumper sets the board for either stall motors (STL) or Kato motors (KTO), so the correct drive is applied to your chosen motor. Each motor connects to its own pair of screw terminals, and you can simply swap the two wires to reverse a turnout.

  • Drives up to six stall or Kato turnout motors

  • Network address 2-17 (default 2), with LO/HI range jumper for the first or second six channels
  • Adjustable Kato pulse power in five steps
  • 12V DC, 1A minimum, no polarity to observe

Please note this board is for reversible motors only; for conventional three-wire solenoids from Hornby, Peco or Seep, use our Solenoid Driver instead.
