Description
The MegaPoints Servo Controller is a flexible, microprocessor-controlled board that drives up to 12 inexpensive R/C servos for turnouts and semaphore signals, independently and in a scale-like way. Each output is set once during installation and remembered thereafter, even when the power is switched off.
Every channel is operated by a single toggle switch wired back to a common feed, which keeps panel cabling to a minimum. Memory buttons let you recall favourite point settings, and master/slave pairing lets two boards work in tandem to handle interlocking without complex mechanics.
- 12 servo/points outputs, each with independent high and low end-point, speed (1-3) and reverse
- Turnout and semaphore modes with smoothed upper and lower quadrant bounce
- Three memory recalls (M1-M3) and master/slave networking
- Built-in high-power voltage regulator for demanding servos, with no external parts to add
- Powered from 9-13.8V regulated DC (12V ideal); under 40mA plus servo load, 2A peak
No separate programming hardware is needed. A long-standing favourite that still sits at the heart of many layouts, and a natural stepping-stone to the newer System2 range when you are ready.
