Description
The DCC Module bridges your DCC system and your MegaPoints Controllers network, so points, signals and accessories can be operated straight from a DCC handset alongside everything else on the layout. It connects using a single supplied servo cable, with no soldering required.
It works two ways. In simple (interface) mode it plugs directly into a Servo, Solenoid or Relay Controller and provides 12 DCC accessory addresses. In gateway mode a single board serves over 192 DCC accessory addresses to the entire network, so one DCC gateway can cover a large layout. Any valid NMRA-compliant DCC accessory address can be used, and the module also works with RailCom-equipped systems.
Setting the address is straightforward: enter monitor mode, send an accessory packet from your controller, and the module learns it as the base address. Still manufactured and fully supported as part of the Classic range, and a natural partner for our Servo, Solenoid and MultiPanel products.
