Description
The MegaPoints Relay Driver board provides a flexible way to switch turnout frog polarity automatically, control Tortoise-type stall motors, or place isolated relays anywhere around your layout. It drives up to 12 opto-isolated relays over the MegaPoints network and can be controlled from a standalone Servo Controller, directly from our DCC module, or from the MultiPanel and Router.
Used alongside a Servo Controller, the driver shares the same network address so the relays move in step with the servos, changing frog polarity exactly as each turnout is thrown. A short network cable is included.
- Drives up to 12 opto-isolated (5V) relays over the network
- Automatic frog switching, stall-motor control or general-purpose relays
- Controlled by a Servo Controller, DCC module, MultiPanel or Router
- Network address 2-17 (default 2), lockable with the Prog Inhibit jumper
- Powered from 12V regulated DC, any polarity
Connects to our 4-way relay boards (available separately). Please fit only MegaPoints opto-isolated relay boards; conventional relays will damage the driver.
