System2 News — June 2026

Welcome to the first of our occasional round‑ups — a quick look at what we’ve been building lately. There’s rather a lot.

A brand‑new website

We’ve rebuilt the site from the ground up to make it easier to find your way around. There’s a clearer System2 brochure, a layout configuration tool that imports AnyRail and JMRI files, and a tidier documentation section with every guide in one place. Your favourite classic range hasn’t gone anywhere — and if you’re ready to go wireless, there’s now a clear upgrade path.

System2, explained simply

If you’re new to System2, we’ve redrawn our plain‑English explainer so you can see at a glance how the wireless range fits together — boards, vPorts and all. It’s the gentlest possible introduction to cutting the addressing cables.

Set a whole route with two presses

The Route Processor now supports Entrance/Exit (NX) route setting, just like the signalling panels on the full‑size railway. Press the entrance, then the exit, and every point along the way swings to the right position for you.

A big reliability update across the Panel family

The Panel Controller, Mini Panel, IN‑32 and OUT‑32 now all run on a single, hardened platform. In everyday terms that means quicker Wi‑Fi reconnection, safer updates and steadier running — and because updates are free and arrive over Wi‑Fi, your boards simply offer you the latest when it’s ready. You don’t have to install it.

More soon. As ever, if you have a question or a suggestion, just choose Contact on any System2 board, or drop us a line.
